Scheduling an Appointment
The Engineering Advising Office is located at 202 Estabrook Hall and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. To make an appointment, either stop by the office or call (865) 974-4008.
If you are a freshman or a student taking Engineering Fundamentals 151, 152 or 153, a student not yet admitted into engineering, or a student on Academic Review not yet in an engineering major, you are advised each semester by the Engineering Advising Office.
If you are a transfer student who has been admitted into an engineering major or are a sophomore or above, then you are advised in your engineering major department. Contact the appropriate department for your major to schedule an advising session. Students seeking a second bachelor's degree need to talk with the Associate Department Head in the major department for details about a second degree.
If you have decided to change your major to another college/major at the University of Tennessee, please contact that college's advising center to schedule an appointment to discuss changing your major. Click here for a list of other college advising centers.
