Dr. Eric T. Boder

Brief Bio
Dr. Boder received his B.S. degree Summa Cum Laude in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in 1993 and earned M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1996 and 1999, respectively. Dr. Boder's thesis research focused on molecular engineering of single-chain antibodies by yeast display and directed evolution. Following a short postdoc studying T cell immunology at National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver, CO, Dr. Boder joined the faculty in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. In 2007, Dr. Boder joined the faculty at UT-Knoxville, where his research program focuses on protein engineering and applied molecular biology.
