2005 Civil Engineering Curriculum
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering adopted a new curriculum for Fall 2005 which reduces the total required number of hours from 135 to 128. Students should be aware of the following with respect to the curriculum change.
1. Students have the right to graduate under the curriculum they entered under, or any subsequent curriculum for years in which they are enrolled.
2. Students must meet all the requirements of one curriculum; you cannot mix and match requirements.
3. The 2005 curriculum has significantly different General Education requirements than the previous curriculums. Students switching to a 2005 or later curriculum must meet the new General Education Requirements.
4. The approved substitution in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is EF 101, EF 102, and NE 203 or ME 331 for EF 151, EF 152, EF 105, and EF 202.
