Pre-College Programs

The Office of Diversity Programs at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, offers an array of pre-college enrichment programs for high school students. The following programs are offered:

Engineers Day 2017 West Tennessee Initiative (WTI) 
Engineers Day WTI is an overnight program for current high school juniors and seniors who are interested in pursuing engineering.

Tickle College of Engineering Summer Counselor Application 2017
The Tickle College of Engineering is seeking counselors for the 20th Annual Summer Pre-college Programs during 2017 for rising 9th through 12th grade students.

Engineering VOLunteers for 9th Graders (eVOL9)
Established in 2013, the eVOL9 program selects rising ninth grade students who demonstrate interests within engineering and provides college preparation.

Established in 2013, the eVOL10 program selects rising tenth grade students who demonstrate interests within engineering and provides introduction to applied sciences.

Established in 2001, the HITES11 program identifies and selects rising eleventh grade students who demonstrate interests within engineering and provides an introduction to computing.
