Engineering Honors Program

What Will You Create at UT?

The Engineering Honors Program is your gateway to personalized opportunities in scholarship, research, entrepreneurship, global studies, community engagement, and more!

Engineering Honors Program – Challenge Yourself.

The purpose of the Engineering Honors Program (EHP) is to provide greater intellectual challenges and broader educational experiences for our undergraduate students. These opportunities will prepare you to become a highly competitive engineering graduate and be more successful in facing the challenges of the 21st century. Advantages of joining the EHP include priority advising and course registration in each semester, automatic qualification for you to register in first-year engineering Honors sequence (EF 157-158 Honors Physics for Engineers I & II), ability to enroll in smaller honors courses, and other opportunities exclusive to Engineering Honors students. Highly motivated and engaged students may also want to pursue the more ambitious Grand Challenge Scholars Program.
