BS Program
The
undergraduate program in industrial and Information engineering provides
a strong background in both fundamental engineering principles and the
analytic methods necessary for solving the multi-faceted problems associated
with the production, maintenance, and delivery of goods and services.
In particular, this curriculum emphasizes the knowledge and skills necessary
to design integrated systems of people, materials, equipment, and energy
wherever they are found, such that the overall system functions at an
optimal level and such that the needs of the human components of the system
are adequately met.
This
program requires a minimum of 132 credit hours to prepare students
to contribute to the profession of Industrial Engineering and to prepare
them for further study, including professional and graduate education.
