The Information Engineering and Systems Laboratory (IIESL) is a research group in the Department of Industrial and Information Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Vison

Research at IIESL focuses on the generation, processing, analysis, retrieval, and use of information in engineering systems in the vision of management of "Information Engineering" which arises from the convergence of information technologies in traditional engineering systems.

Mission

The mission of IESL is to investigate new approaches to information processing, information retrieval, information security and assurance, and data/web mining.
