RESEARCH INTERESTS

Machine sciences particularly as relates to friction and wear of machine elements, the use of non conventional lubricants such as powder lubricants in high temperature applications, mechanical vibration analysis, kinematics and dynamics of machine elements. Problems associated with drilling oil and gas wells such as drillstring vibrations, drill bit chatter, bottom hole assembly design, directional drilling and marine riser performance.
