RESEARCH INTERESTS

Classical fluid mechanics, viscous compressible vortical flows as well as shock wave boundary layer interactions, and reactive fluid systems, aerothermodynamics as well as thermo-chemical non-equilibrium flows. Multi-dimensional theory of characteristics, scientific computing, and numerical solution of elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic systems of partial differential equations of mathematical physics. Finite and boundary element methods, computational fluid dynamics, and multi-dimensional upstream algorithms for the Euler and Navier-Stokes equations. Interactive computer-based education of engineering.
