RESEARCH INTERESTS

Mechanics of advanced materials, particularly, micromechanically-based analytical and computational analyses of the elastic properties, nonlinear behavior, damage mechanisms, fracture, and failure modes of metal-matrix and ceramic-matrix composites, smart piezoelectric, electrostrictive, and electronic materials.
