In 1838 the first engineering courses were taught at the University of Tennessee. That’s nearly 175 years of teaching and creative discovery, so we’re getting ready to celebrate! In 2013 throughout the year we will recognize the many achievements of our graduates, our students, and our faculty. We plan to cap the year with a gala evening event. You are part of this grand history and you are part of our amazing future. We want to feature your remembrances on our 2013 website, so send your favorite stories–faculty who influenced you, how you met your spouse, adventures in the labs, memories of friends, etc.–to firstname.lastname@example.org. Dates and details for our fall 2013 celebration will follow in coming months. Join the festivities and help us tell the Tennessee Engineering story.
