Course Description:

This course covers the basic concepts and techniques of the field of radiation protection. The principal emphasis will be on giving students a grounding in the basic principles of  the field and practice in radiation shielding computer methods in common use.

Required Text: Shultis, J.K.; and Faw, R.E., Radiation Shielding, Prentice-Hall, Inc., Upper Saddle River, NJ, 1996.
