Celebration Sponsorship Information
Anniversary Celebration Sponsors were recognized at the celebration event on March 3, 2007 and will be continuously recognized on our website for an indefinite period of time. In addition, Revenue generated from Sponsorships and banquet ticket sales in excess of the cost of the Anniversary Celebration will be used in the future for undergraduate student scholarships, graduate student fellowships, faculty development, and general infrastructure support for the department. Sponsorships are actually gifts to the University of Tennessee Nuclear Engineering Department and therefore qualify as tax deductions according to current I.R.S. regulations.
The Sponsorship levels are: Silver-$1,000 or more, Gold-$5,000 or more, Platinum-$10,000 or more, and Diamond - $50,000 or more. A Sponsor should state the name to be displayed on the Sponsor’s check, which should be payable to The University of Tennessee.
