WATTec

It was reported by Larry Townsend that there will not be a WATTec 2000. Larry will continue to be the contact for information on future WATTec meetings.

Other Business

The Executive Committee reviewed the mission and objectives statements for the UT Nuclear Engineering department as requested by Larry Townsend on behalf of UT. We have sent a letter agreeing with the statements in general and attached a compilation of specific comments.

The next board meeting is rescheduled to November 30, due to a conflict on the 16th with the National ANS conference. There will be no board meeting or local chapter dinner meeting in December.

The final designs for the local ANS section logo were discussed and voted upon. We have an official logo! It is debuted on the letterhead for these minutes.

Meeting adjourned.
