The meeting was called to order, Larry Townsend presiding. A quorum of the executive committee was present.
Secretary's Report
The meeting minutes from November and January were approved.
Treasurer's Report
Kevin Reynolds distributed copies of treasurer's reports from July through December.

The nominating committee presented a list of candidates for executive committee positions for next year. The list was approved and ballots will be mailed shortly. [Editorial note: After the meeting, the list was revised, so the final list is not shown here]

Honors and Awards
Larry Townsend made a motion that was approved to allow the scholarship committee more flexibility in giving out scholarships. When there are limited or no students scheduled to enter the senior year curriculum the next year, one or both of the two annual scholarships may now be awarded to students entering the junior year of study. Peggy Emmet went over a list of national ANS awards for which nominations are due soon. See the national ANS web site (www.ans.org) if you would like to nominate anyone.
Topical Meetings
The Spectrum 2000 meeting web site is set up. Very few paper submissions have been received so far.
