Founder and Director of the Nuclear Waste Documentary Project, a nonprofit scientific organization that produces educational materials on nuclear waste issues for public television, museums, and schools, 1990-present. First film; Half Lives, 1995. No prior film-making experience.
Counsel, U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, 1988-90. Advised Committee, government agencies, environmental groups, business and professional organizatins, concerned citizens, and foreign governments on full range of nuclear issues. Negotiated legislative and regulatory aspects of nuclear issues among various interest groups. Principal staff member in criminal investigative hearings concerning corruption in the nuclear industry.
Counsel, U.S. Senate Governmental Affairs Committee, 1987-88. Advised Committee on energy, environment, and TVA issues. Participated in investigations concerning the nuclear weapons complex.

Appellate Attorney, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Practiced before the U.S. Courts of Appeal. Specialized in litigation involving the structural integrity of, nuclear facilities, 1984-87.
