SMRC Receives Private Research Funding

The University of Tennessee’s Scintillation Materials Research Center (SMRC) has received $190,000 in funding from NucSafe, Inc. in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, for research involving scintillating glass fibers for neutron detection. The SMRC's research supports NucSafe's development of innovative products for nuclear non-proliferation and security applications.
