Truman Sherrill

Truman Sherrill (BS/CEE ‘80) has joined the engineering firm of Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon as a civil engineer and surveyor.

(BS/EE ‘82; MS/ENG ‘84; Ph.D./ENG ‘88) will assist the UT Space Institute in a research effort to develop a high-tech power source for the Air Force’s superfast aircraft of the future.

Robert Hammond (BS/CE ‘83) is celebrating his 12th year with the Walt Disney World Company, where he is a senior project engineer.

David Melchers, PMP (MS/ME ‘86) was recently named CIO and
SVP at GE Financial Assurance Partnership Marketing Group in Schaumburg, Ill.

Terry Bumpus, P.E. (BS/CE ‘88) has been named manager of Airport Design in the Columbia, S.C. office for the LPA Group Incorporated, Engineers, Architects and Planners.

Lauren Pareigis (BS/IE ‘89) has been promoted to Vice-President of Information Technology at Provident Music Group, Franklin, Tenn.
