Father John Leon Oglesby (BS/ChE '42) was honored recently at a reception and dinner for his leadership as honorary chairman of the Ave Maria capital campaign drive, which will help to fund a new assisted living facility on the campus of the Ave Maria Home in Bartlett, Tenn. Oglesby is a retired ordained Catholic priest who continues to minister to numerous parishes through the Diocese of Memphis.

Robert S. White (BS/ChE '49) recently attended the Golden Graduates Reunion at UTK in May. He is retired and lives in Greenville, S.C.

W. Lewis Wood, Jr. (BS/EE '49) presently serves as chairman of the Legislative and Government Affairs Committee of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and was presented the prestigious 'Award of Merit' by the Private Practice Division of NSPE at its national convention in Spokane, Wash. in July. Lewis received the award for his personal and professional contributions to the public as a consulting professional engineer.
