Bent Polishing

Instructions:
- Start Early. Your bent cannot be shined in one day!!
- Machine tools are NOT allowed.
- All surfaces (Front, Back, Inner and Outer Sides) EXCEPT the Greek Letters mush be polished.

Procedure:
- Start with a metal file or coarse sand paper. Try to avoid creating ruts or uneven surfaces by filing/sanding too much in one spot.
- Once the entire bent is sanded with the coarse paper, move onto a medium grain, and then a fine grain.
- Move on to extra fine sandpaper (400 grit or higher) for an even better finish. After this, you can use a fine grain steel wool.
- Use a brass polish such as Brasso to finish the Bent.
- There will be a contest (and a prize) for the nicest Bent!
