Interest Meeting
Lean more about Tau Beta Pi and what the pledge
requirements are. You will receive an information
sheet and two cards to fill out for the National Office. You

Bent Polishing
Instructions:
- Start Early. Your bent cannot be shined in one day!!
- Machine tools are NOT allowed.
- All surfaces (Front, Back, Inner and Outer Sides) EXCEPT the Greek Letters mush be polished.
Procedure:
- Start with a metal file or coarse sand paper. Try to avoid creating ruts or uneven surfaces by
filing/sanding too much in one spot.
- Once the entire bent is sanded with the coarse paper, move onto a medium grain, and then a fine grain.
- Move on to extra fine sandpaper (400 grit or higher) for an even better finish. After this, you can
use a fine grain steel wool if desired.
- Use a brass polish such as Brasso to finish the Bent.
- There will be a contest (and a prize) for the nicest Bent!
